Jasmine Luckett-Epps (she/her)

Jasmine is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who founded Sacred Rose with a deep commitment to person-centered care. She blends evidence-based psychiatry with compassion, empowering clients to feel safe, respected, and actively engaged in their healing. Her approach always begins with listening — because your story matters.

I’ve known since I was a kid that I wanted to work in mental health.

It may sound cliche but it is true. When I was eight, maybe before, I learned my family lost my grandmother in a way that left me wondering what could have been different if someone had really listened to her. That moment stayed with me. It’s why I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and it’s why I created Sacred Rose — to make sure no one feels like their story is too heavy, too messy, or too much to be heard.

I’m a trauma survivor & flawed like everyone else.

That means I don’t come into sessions with judgment or shame - just compassion and honesty. Outside of my practice, I’m a wife, a mom, a natural hair enthusiast, an unskilled garden lover, and an avid Amazon box collector. And if you ever need to know a fun fact about me: I’ll help you through almost anything… but if a frog shows up, I’m running right alongside you. Once we’re safe, though, I promise we’ll turn it into a grounding exercise.

My style of care is collaborative and thorough.

I’ve always been the kind of person who needs to know every detail, because I believe everything plays a role in how the body and mind work together. You’ll never hear me just tell you what to do. Instead, I want to know your perspective, your questions, and your comfort level — because the best treatment plan is the one that feels right for you. My role is to bring education, options, and support, and then stand with you as we build a plan that actually fits your life.

I take an integrative approach, which means we’ll talk about more than symptoms.

We’ll look at how you’re eating, sleeping, moving through your days, and even whether you’re enjoying your hobbies. I’ll give you information to help lift the guilt and shame that often come with mental health struggles, and I’ll also remind you of the strength you’ve already shown. Whether you’re navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, mood disorders, trauma, women’s health, or perinatal challenges, my focus always comes back to YOU as a person first — not just a diagnosis.

PMHNP-BC, MSN, BSN

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. My background also includes psychology and special education, which continue to shape how I support the clients I serve. Since 2015, I’ve worked in both nursing and psychology, beginning in intensive care units across the country from Duke University to Cedar Sinai before transitioning into outpatient psychiatry. Those experiences taught me that healing requires both precision and compassion. Over the years, I’ve cared for individuals in inpatient and outpatient settings, deepening my commitment to care that is evidence-based, collaborative, and always centered around you.
